Balhae - Costume Designs

This World Costume Design Project focuses on designing a world, atmosphere, and characters for an animated TV show.
Based on the fall of the real Kingdom of Balhae in 926 CE -- A land where Shamanism, the arts, and a melting pot of tribes flourished, yet suddenly disappeared -- leaving little trace of its existence. This adaptation reimagines the events with the addition of dark fantasy and modern influences.
